The first Purity Herbs Cream was made over two decades ago. This cream called "Undrakrem" or e. Wonder Cream, was made by curiosty of André Raes, it turned out to help a young boy in a kindegarten in Akureyri who have been suffering with eczema. Since that "Undrakremið" have been one of the most popular products of the Purity Herbs collection, and this cream have helped a lot of people dealing with problem prone-skin.

Since the establishment of the company, Purity Herbs have been located and produced in Akureyri, Iceland. Akureyri - is "The Pearl of the North". Akureyri is a small city located in the North of Iceland and boasts some of the cleanest air, water and nature found on our earth.  This reflects in the quality of the herbs growing in the region. 

Icelands History of Herbal Treatments 

Most Icelanders have at some point in been treated with the healing effect of the Icelandic herbal medicine. 

Much research has been done on Icelandic herbs and studies show that even though Icelandic plants are smaller in comparison to their counterparts in other countries they are also tougher and more potent.
